Knitting Pattern for a Short-sleeved Tee with a Delicate Lace Pattern Alternated by Reverse Stockinette Stitch Stripes, Additionally Emphasized by Different Yarn Qualities, in the Sizes XS | S | M (L | XL | 2XL) 3XL | 4XL | 5XL

Structure:
The light blouse is worked in stockinette stitch with lace and a textured pattern in reverse stockinette stitch top down in one piece. First, the yoke is worked in stockinette stitch back and forth in rows, with additional increases along the front panels to shape the round neck. As soon as the round neck is closed to the round, the yoke is shaped with raglan increases only. Additionally, you start working the lace pattern and the textured pattern in reverse stockinette stitch, which is emphasized by using a different yarn combination: The main part of the body and the sleeves is worked with 2 strands of silk mohair (“Edith”) held together, but the lace pattern and the textured pattern in reverse stockinette stitch are worked with 1 strand of lace weight yarn and 1 strand of fingering weight yarn held together (“Edith” together with “Helene”). When the sleeves are separated from the body, the blouse is then finished in the round and the stitches are bound off with an I-cord edging. Then, the resting sleeve stitches are picked up again and the sleeves are finished in stockinette stitch with the lace pattern and the textured pattern in the round. Then, the sleeve stitches are bound off with an I-cord edging to match the bottom hem. The neckline is finished off with an applied I-cord edging as well.
The fit of the blouse is comfortable with a slightly positive ease. The length is relatively short to make it perfect for high-waisted jeans, skirts and trousers.
