Root Bound
Celtic Plait & Moss Stitch Headband
I’ve always loved wandering through the old streets of Vancouver, especially around Shaughnessy and Oak, where roots peek out between moss-covered sidewalks and winding trees. There’s something grounding in the way they intertwine, breaking through stone and soil, a reminder that strength often comes from what grows quietly beneath the surface.
Root Bound was inspired by that feeling, a balance between earth and texture. This headband combines Celtic Plait cables and Moss Stitch, creating a meditative rhythm that’s both soothing and engaging.
It’s perfect for knitters who want to practice cables for the first time or experienced makers who enjoy organic, nature-inspired textures.
