Rosemary Blouse
Sweater with a classic fit, three-quarter sleeves and detailed edges - Difficulty: Intermediate.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Rosemary blouse is knitted from the top down. First, the neckline is knitted, which is shaped with circular needles, while at the same time making raglan increases.
After the yoke, the body and sleeves are finished separately. The edges along the body and sleeves are finished with a fine pattern consisting of knit and purl stitches. Finally, stitches are picked up along the neck for the collar (on needles 4.5), which is also knitted in the pattern of knit and purl stitches.
The beige and white blouse in the pictures is knitted in a mix of yarn scraps together with a strand of thin sequin yarn 50 grams = 140 meters. The sequin yarn is knitted in as stripes along the way, 1-2 rounds with sequin yarn and 3-5 rounds without.
GUIDE NEEDLES 5 mm 40/60/80 cm for body and sleeves & 4.5 mm 60 cm for collar.
The Rosemary blouse is named after rosemary, which is one of my favorite plants. It is said to represent clarity, strength and protection. In ancient times it was used to cleanse both the home and the mind. I even put a sprig in my drinking water, it tastes really good.
