About the pattern
The socks are knitted in two colours, the main colour will be best if you choose a solid or semisolid yarn, while the contrast colour can be any colour that looks great together with the main colour.

Needles and notions

1 unique Beginning of Round marker 

Tapestry needle

Needles for working on a small circumference in size to obtain gauge, e.g. circular needles with a length of at least 80 cm, DPNs, 23 cm circulars or CrazyTrios/FlexiFlops.

Yarn
Limmo Design solid hand-dyed sock yarn, 
75% superwash wool / 25% nylon, 
425 metres per 100 gram
OR
Opal Solid 4-ply,

any other sock yarn in fingering weight approx. 390-430 metres per 100 gram

Gauge
34 sts x 45 rnds = 10 x 10 cm in stocking stitch after blocking
38 sts x 45 rnds = 10 x 10 cm in stitch pattern after blocking
When the sample was knit, gauge was obtained on 2.5mm needles. I am a tight knitter, so you might need to go down to needle size 2.0-2.25 mm.
