These mittens are inspired by the south Rose Window of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. They are a regular ladies’ size, knitted in the round on 5 dpns with gauge 36sts & 36rows/ 10 cm. Pattern contains written description and charts, along with a Tips & Explanations section where different techniques are explained.

Sts used: knit, purl, increase and decrease. Also picking up new sts for thumb and reading charts.

Yarn suggestion: Drops Fabel (black) and Austerman Step (contrast colour). Any wool or wool blend will be fine as long as gauge is achieved.
Colour 1: Black ~20 grams/70 meters
Colour 2: Variegated ~ 25 grams/ 110 meters

Alternatives to contrast colour: Opal Glitter or Cewec Salida Glitter.
