I designed Rosie’s blanket in honor of my fourth daughter whom we named Rosie. I have knit a blanket for all of my wonderful daughters. With each blanket came more wisdom, and ideas to design my own one day. Rosie just happened to be the lucky baby to get an original design by Mommy. I wanted to design something with just two stitches, knits and purls so that the pattern could be reversible. Not having a true right or wrong side allows it looks nice on each side of the blanket. Having a pattern that is intuitive was crucial to the design that way you don’t have to carry the pattern around. Happy to say I achieved all of these goals and baby Rosie loves her blanket. I hope you enjoy knitting it as much as I enjoyed designing it.
