The very simple slip stitch pattern will have you whipping up these warmers in no time. They are knitted in the round, either on DPNS or magic loop. The pattern calls for three colours of DK/8 Ply yarn, approx 30 grams of each. The pattern is easily adjustable and advice on this is given in the PDF. The slip stitches create a very warm dense fabric, which is why I designed them on a larger than usual needle for DK. Colour choice will vary the overall look enormously.
These wrist warmers were made with my grandmothers in mind. She lived on a road called Rosslyn Avenue and was a great knnitter.
It was a suburb built in the 1930s and all the house had an art deco feel to them. The way the three colours intersect and play with each other gave me the same feel. So they are called Rosslyn Wrist warmer in honour of her street.
