The Rowan Tree Beanie is inspired by the tree it is named after. I wanted to make a beanie that can showcase a multicolored yarn without being overwhelming and I chose the colors and pattern to represent the red berries that the tree produces. I also wanted to include in the tree’s ties to Celtic heritage and mythology so it includes a cable which can be worn in the back or in the front towards one side.

Yardage listed is for main color. You will also need approx 40-50 yards of an accent color
