With Røros, the Escales de Noël eBook takes us to Norway, up on the high plateaus where the old mining town keeps its wooden houses painted red and ochre. Under the snow, the Christmas market settles in between the façades, sleds glide through the streets and we pause for a moment on a doorstep, a cup of hot tea in our hands.

This set brings together a hat, a cowl and a pair of mitts, linked by the same pattern. Two narrow cables climb side by side, mirrored on either side of a knit stitch, on a reverse stockinette background that gives them all their relief. The ribbed edges frame the pattern and keep a comfortable fit around the face, the neck and the wrists.

All three pieces are knit in the round, from the bottom up, seamlessly. Wear them together or separately, give them as a trio or one piece at a time: Røros is one of the seven stops in this collection of Christmas accessory sets.
