Growing up, Ruby the Reindeer cat was teased by the other kitties because of the strange growths coming out of her head. Then one night she woke up to find herself floating around her bedroom! That’s when she realized that those growths were actually magical antlers that gave her the ability to fly! Now she’s an important part of Santa’s team, and no one thinks she’s strange at all!

This 13-page crochet pattern contains all of the instructions and photos you will need in order to create your own Christmas reindeer cat complete with string of lights. There is also an additional 6-page printer-friendly version of the pattern included. This pattern has been thoroughly tested and proofread to be easy to follow. You are welcome to sell finished objects made from this pattern.

Skill-level: Intermediate

The recommended yarn/hook combo will result in a project ~6 in/15 cm tall. However, feel free to use your preferred yarn/hook combo. Using a thicker yarn will result in a larger finished project. Basic crochet techniques and stitches (magic ring, single crochet, slip stitch, chain, increase, invisible decrease, working into front/back-loop stitches, and color changes) are used in this pattern. Instructions are provided for face shaping and the invisible color change.

Materials:
Yarn: Cotton sport (#2) weight yarn or yarn of your choice (~140 yd/128 m)
Hook: 2.75mm or the appropriate hook for your yarn
Toy stuffing
Safety eyes: 10 mm or the appropriate size for your yarn
Embroidery thread
Stitch marker
Yarn needle
Scissors
