Ruffled Triangle by Viktoria Kurbatskaia

Ruffled Triangle

This pattern is available for free.

It is a free video tutorial available on the Knitport Youtube channel https://youtu.be/T8H7lBSLg6s.

This tutorial shows how to knit a Ruffled Triangle Scarf or Shawl.

You can make it any size you like and choose between two ruffle types: a light and subtle one, or a bolder and curlier one finished with a picot bind-off.

Sizes: any size

Yarn recommendations: I recommend any silk mohair. I used Lang Yarns Mohair Luxe and DROPS Kid-Silk, but feel free to use any yarn you like. Just keep in mind: the thicker the yarn, the heavier and less airy your ruffle will be.

The shawl version used 34g of Lang Yarns Mohair Luxe: 25g for the triangle and 9g for the ruffle. The small scarf version used 18g of DROPS Kid-Silk: 9g for the triangle and 9g for the ruffle.

Needles: I used 5 mm needles for the silk mohair.
