This rumple cowl was designed to be made with Hand Maidens Rumple pure silk boucle.

The cowl is knitted using two sized needles to show off the beauty of the boucle, creating textured stripes with an uncomplicated knit and purl sequence working back and forth using increases and decreases to create a bias stripe.

This design would work well with any textured or multi-coloured yarn.

As well as knowing the standard knitting stitches, you will need to know, or learn the following techniques:
• Knit 2 together
• Knit in front and back
• Three needle cast off (or use kitchener stitch if you wish)
