RYILLY SCARF SHAWL

The Ryilly Scarf is a classic triangle scarf shawl featuring an easy all over texture. Knit from the top down. The result is a beautiful cozy scarf that will be a favorite hand-knitted wardrobe staple.

SIZE:
The dimensions of my finished samples is approximately 36 inches wide at the top, and about 8.5 inches high from center top to bottom point (AND a larger size of 54 inches wide x 11.5 high).

NEEDLES:
US Size 8 / 5mm circular needles with a 32 inch cord or longer.

YARN:
Designed for worsted weight #4 yarn in any color.

This project will require you to have 133 - 140 yards of worsted #4 yarn. Yarn amounts are for the smaller size. This pattern is written for the smaller shawl scarf but I provide detailed directions and cast on numbers for a larger size. For the larger size you will require more yards of worsted #4 yarn.

This is a new version of my original design of The Ryilly Shawl (BULKY #5). This new worsted #4 version uses a smaller needles, new yarn and yarn weight, and includes two new scarf shawl sizes different from my original.
My original design can still be found on my shop also. This new version I consider more of a triangle scarf.
