Knit as a top-down triangle, the Ryrie Shawl pairs stockinette and simple eyelet panels with a pretty lace border for a timeless and elegant shawl. Lovely Indulgence from Greenwood Fiberworks definitely lives up to its name in its fiber content - the addition of cashmere and silk makes for a wonderful knitting experience and helps the shawl block out to a generous finished size!

This pattern contains both fully charted and written instructions.

Recommended Yarn:
Greenwood Fiberworks Indulgence — 75% merino / 15% cashmere / 10% silk — 420 yds (384 m) per 115 g. Shown in colorway Magenta Semi-Solid (color is more pink in real life). Shawl uses two skeins or approximately 790 yds, which includes a 10% cushion for gauge differences.

Sizing:
66” (191 cm) across and 31” (84 cm) deep.

Blocked Gauge:
18 sts and 36 rows to 4” (10 cm) in stockinette st.

PLEASE NOTE: This is the needle size I used for the shawl shown. If you have knit other patterns of mine, please know that I don’t knit quite as tightly now as I did in years past, but I am still a slightly tight knitter. This pattern is not dependent on gauge, but changes in gauge will affect finished size, look of motifs, and amount of yarn used.

Needles:
US 6 (4 mm) circular needle, 32” length.

Other Materials:
One stitch marker, tapestry needle. Optional—extra stitch markers for setting up lace pattern.
