Sachet lace Clocks
This is a pattern for sachets, my most recent impromptu. I used the light beige thread which has in 100 gr 665 meters and a mocca color
muline thread for the row number 9 and 12. It has only 11 rows on the chart plus one more to join two parts together. It takes from 2 to 3 hours to finish one part. The size is 12 cm x 12 cm
For a sachet you will need to crochet two laced parts and to sew a fabric square 10 cm x 10 cm filled with wormwood(fragrant plant). I used silk fabric of a dark blue color, but the best option would be cotton satin.
After two lace parts and fabric square are ready attach one lace square to another by repeating chain 2 and a double crochet. In order to be able to insert the fabric square, the central 8 cm of the fourth side of square are crocheted only for one part of the sachet. For the last row I used a muline thread.
This design should look lovely as well on tablecloths and pillowcases.
I created this pattern on April 29, 2024 and named it Clocks.
