Saga cardigan
‘The Saga cardigan is part of the NORTH collection showcasing colorwork inspired by the Nordic mythology and textural embellishments rooted in the Scandinavian knitting traditions.
The Saga cardigan is a casual boxy short cardigan intended for a loose fit’.
ABOUT THIS DESIGN:
The cardigan is worked flat, bottom up on circular needles until splitting for sleeves. Hereafter the fronts and back are worked separately.
After sewing together, the shoulder seams, stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armhole edge and the sleeves knitted top down, making the sleeve length easy to adjust.
Finally, the front bands are picked up and knitted placing buttonholes mid-way, and stitches are bound off using the Italian BO method.
