Knitting pattern for Saga by Hanne Falkenberg

Pretty blouse or vest with a small sleeve worked in slip stitch pattern. The blouse features a pretty checkered pattern.

The knitting direction is vertical. The front and back are worked in one piece which begins along the right side of the vest. Front and back are joined in the sides. The edge is worked in garter stitch along the armhole a similar edge is worked along the collar.

Chest circumference: approx. 90 (100) 110 (120) cm
Length: 52 (57) 58 (63) cm

Materials:
350 (350) 350 (350) g Önling No 20, 100% Shetland wool, from Hanne Falkenberg Design, ca 225m/50g

Amount of yarn (all sizes):
Main color (vertical stripes + edge) A: 150 g
Contrast color (horizontal stripes) B: 150 g
Contrast stripe (1 vertical stripe) C: 50 g

Worked with one strand throughout

Gauge: 25-26 sts and rows in pattern on needle 3 mm = 10 x 10 cm.

Procedure:
The garment is worked in one piece, vertically from side to side, no shoulder seams. Front and back are joined under the armhole. Finally work edges along armholes, neckline and lower edge, in garter stitch.
