This 1940s style utility top has a beautiful sailor open collar finished in double crochet. The top has a central lace panel down the front, back and sleeves and added stitch detail to the yoke and shoulders. With three quarter puffed sleeves and a ribbed cuff there’s a real feminine touch to this easy to wear top.

Knitted in Rowan wool cotton mix 4 ply yarn, this garment is perfect for any season; as it’s warm enough for the cooler evenings whilst the lace panel, three quarter sleeves and v neckline make it highly adaptable.

As the Rowan yarn has now been discontinued, any 4 ply weight yarn can be used in wool or cotton. The instructions are given for the garment to be knitted in the flat from the bottom up.

The pattern is currently available in 2 sizes (34 - 38 inches and 38-44 inches). The small size gives an actual bust measurement of 39 inches and the medium size gives an actual bust measurement of 43 inches.

If knitting in 2 colours, one 25gram ball of an additional colour will be needed for the collar and rib
