This hat was knit for the Hats for Sailor Project using the very appropriate sailor’s rib stitch (slightly modified). The stitch creates a comfortably stretchy hat that will accommodate heads up to 24”.

The stitch pattern is easy to memorize, and the project is a quick knit.
