The ‘Sakura’ top was inspired by the feeling of springs arrival, where bare branches fill with gorgeous blossoms and the softness of nature come back after the long winter months.

It is a beautiful, light and airy top, perfect way to stay cool as the temperature rises. The base is worked in a stunning lace pattern that lays flat and is open on the sides which makes it very comfortable and flattering to wear. The V-shaped neck is framed by a lace pattern which continues into the straps.
This is a fun project to work with a number of interesting techniques to work including twisted stitches, cable techniques, increasing and decreasing, and lace work with yarn overs.
