The Salmerino Hat is worked in the round in 2x2 rib, from the bottom up. Using yarn held double creates a thick, warm feel. It can be made in a shorter “beanie” style or a longer version. The crown is shaped by dividing stitches into sections and working left and right-leaning decreases. This pattern also includes tips on how to personalize the fit to accommodate other measurements, and style, so you can become a confident hat maker!

The instructions are for an adult size. The rib is very forgiving allowing good fit on smaller and larger circumferences. There are instructions in the pattern to modify the width. Short version: 26cm long, 26cm wide; long version 29 cm long, 26cm wide.
