Salt Pond is a top down crescent shawl worked with alternating sections of garter and slip stitch. A simple eyelet border frames the bottom.
The colors in this shawl reminded me of salt and the sea. This shawl is named after the salt pond at Point Judith, RI.

Materials:
Approximately 500 yards/ 457 m of DK weight yarn (Sample shown in 3 skeins of Harrisville Designs Silk & Wool ( 50% Fine Wool/ 50% Silk, 175 yd / 1.75 oz (160 m / 50g per skein) in colors Linen, Bluebell and Coal
Needles: US 6/4 mm 24” circular needle or size to obtain gauge
