I instantly fell for the new Southport base from Romney Ridge Farm when I saw it at the Slater Mill Knitting weekend this past January. It’s wooly and bouncy and Kelly has it dyed in a bunch of lovely colors.
After swatching, I decided this yarn needed to be a cowl.
I designed the Weybosset cowl as a way to play with color and stitch pattern in a simple, wearable
accessory. To keep things interesting there’s some ribbing, slip stitch mesh and slip stitch stripes. Nothing too difficult! It works up relatively quickly so you’ll have a cozy cowl in no time.
