Salt is a lovely chunky sweater with a boat neckline, drop-sleeves and a beautiful geometric pattern. The sweater is soft and chunky yet still light. It is knitted top-down using 2 strands of Handdyed Fat Mohair.

The sweater is worked from the top down: first the back is knitted, then the front. The side seams are sewn together up to the armholes. Stitches are then picked up in the armholes for the sleeves. The sleeves are knitted in the round and finished with an i-cord edge. The geometric pattern is worked using the intarsia technique, where the yarns are twisted on the wrong side of the work to prevent a hole from forming at the color change.

We have also put together KITs for the Salt Sweater, which you can find here
