This is a PDF crochet pattern for Sam the sailor - A fun Amigurumi project for beginners to seasoned crocheters!

He is a true adventurer and feels most at home when he’s out at sea. He loves making friends with creatures of the ocean. One he’s especially fond of is Mara the mermaid.

Required materials and tools:

Cotton yarn in a DK / light worsted weight in desired skin and hair tone, white and blue.
2.5mm crochet hook / Size B-1 or C-2 depending on how tightly you crochet
7mm safety eyes
Fiberfill
1mm diameter craft wire (optional)
PVC tape (optional)
Stitch markers
Yarn needle
Scissors
Sewing pins

If using the recommended yarn weight and hook size your sailor doll will be about 19cm / 7.5” tall.
