This raglan style cardigan sweater features a unique textured stitch pattern that is basically knit and purl stitches with only one row of yarn overs. The trim at the neck, sleeves and bottom is garter stitch. The pattern includes sizes newborn, 6, 12 and 24 months and is knit in DK weight or baby yarn on size 6 (4.0 mm) needles. The front and back are knit as one from the bottom up to the underarm where the sleeves are joined and the sweater completed up to the neck.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Chest, buttoned: 18 20, 22, 25
YARN: DK weight yarn. Model knit in Plymouth Yarn Company Bamtastic (60% Bamboo Rayon/40% nylon – 100g/248 yards) Color 215 – 1 2, 2, 3 balls.
NEEDLES: US size 6 (4 mm) 24” circular or size needed to obtain gauge. Sweater is knit flat, circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of sts.
NOTIONS: 6 size 3/8” buttons, 2 medium stitch holders, stitch markers, tapestry needle.
