Meet Sandancer!
I wanted specific colours for this ruana - light, bright greens. I had lots of Deramores Studio DK in Tropic, Marine, & Peppermint, so I doubled these up to create a chunky weight.
I am a wheelchair-user and find shawls & ruanas are far more practical in the wheelchair - they’re easier to put on and take off when sat down, but also can be used as an extra cushion or to cover the lap or legs.
I then created! I double and triple checked every step of the pattern, so hopefully it will be easy to follow. I gave lots of detail so I’m hoping it will appeal to a newby knitter who likes a challenge, as well as more experienced knitters.
