The Sandwich Headband is a fully reversible colorwork headband, with a flower motif on one side and a dot motif on the other. The double layered fabric is made extra warm by the layers of colorwork floats “sandwiched” on the inside. It is worked in the round and finished with I-cord edges. There are no purl stitches or increases or decreases, so this is an exceptionally quick and easy project to make.

Sizes:
teen and adult S, M, L.

Needles:
3.5 mm (US4) 40 cm circular or DPNs, based on personal preference.

Gauge:
23 sts x 31 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in)

Yarn requirements:
MC 50 (100) 100 g DK weight yarn
CC1 10 (20) 20 g DK weight yarn
CC2 10 (10) 10 g DK weight yarn.

The sample is knit using Drops Flora in white held double, Drops Daisy in brown, and Sandnes Garn Sunday in matcha held double.
