The Sea Scallop Sweater is a stranded colorwork sweater, knit in the round top-down seamlessly, using compound raglan increases to shape the yoke. The colorwork charts have been designed to fit perfectly within the increase section, giving the finished garment an intentional look.

The concept for this sweater was to create a wearable garment using two awkward quantities of yarn that would not be enough for a garment on their own. The colorwork design was inspired by pebbles on a beach being washed in gentle waves. This rocky effect is accentuated by the use of tweed yarn.

The silhouette of this sweater is ideal for warmer months. There is 12 cm of positive ease at the chest of the sweater to bring comfort and mobility, while the negative ease at the waist prevents the feeling of excess fabric.
