Santorini Shawl
Santorini Shawl is a triangular shawl knitted as different sections with direction of the knitting being changed in every section. Total 13 sections, alternating mosaic knitting and garter stitches.
MATERIALS:
Blue/Brown Shawl:
Kauni, 100% wool, 437 yards (400 m) in 100 g, 180 g
King Cole Merino Blend 4 ply, 197 yards (180 m) in 50 g, 65 g (white)
Dark Red/Toffee Shawl:
Knit Picks Palette, 100% Peruvian Highland Wool, 231 yards (211 m) in 50 g, Rooibos Heather (colour #CD50) 50 g, Toffee (colour #1350) 80 g, Oyster (colour #1989) 60 g, Wheat Heather (colour #LF2) 50 g
Green Shawl:
Knit Picks Palette, 100% Peruvian Highland Wool, 231 yards in 50 g, Larch Heather (colour #C023) 50 g, Toffee (colour #1350) 50 g, Cream (colour #80) 60 g, Verdant Heather (colour #C845) 80 g
TOOLS:
2 Size US 3 (3.25 mm) circular needles, 100 cm length (may consider using shorter needles at the beginning), or size needed to obtain gauge. I recommend to knit each side of the shawl on separate circular needles
Size US 6 (4 mm) double pointed needle for binding off

GAUGE (in garter sts) after blocking:
18 sts=4 inch/10 cm, 22 rows=4 inch/10 cm
SKILLS REQUIRED:
working mosaic knitting (chart and written description are provided), knitting stockinette stitches, picking up stitches from side of the knitted piece, cast on, bind off.
