The Shawlette

This shawl is of top down construction. The lace repeat has a nice rhythm to it, so is easy to memorise, yet very elegant too.

This is a charted pattern only.

Finished size Finished size after blocking (approx.) - 134cm/53” across (from tip to tip), 85cm/33.5” along the side (from bottom to tip) and 63cm/25” along center spine (top to bottom).

Gauge 21 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm over washed and blocked pattern with 4.00mm needles (although gauge is not critical as this is a shawl if you wish to get the same finished size then a swatch is recommended).

You will need

Required:
• 1 x 4.00mm 60cm circular needle
• 1 x Skein of Manos del Uruguay Fino 450 meters/490 yards - 30% Silk 70% Merino. Sample in colourway SF406 (2323-23) Wardian Case
• 1 x Tapestry needle for weaving ends.
Recommended:
• Blocking wires and pins
• 32 Stitch markers for marking between lace repeats
