Scalloped skirt,
The Scalloped skirt is knit from the bottom up, making it highly adaptable to suit different lengths, widths and designs.
The skirt stays up with a ribbon around the waist. so you don’t ever have to worry about sag!
This skirt is great for the summer, and can transition into the cooler months paid with leggings, leg warmers or tights.
Supplies needed: At least 600 yards of worsted wright yarn.
I used cascade’s worsted weight in a heather purple. (1 skein) and malabriogos arroyo (1 skein)
for the orange and purple skirt I used berroco’s fuji, (1 skien) and moonshine farms sabine (2 skeins)
for my wedding dress, the base is this skirt, and I used 4 skeins of cascade worsted in white.
Circular needle in size 6 or size needed to get gauge.
same circumference crochet hook
tapestry needle
blocking materials.
1/4 inch ribbon the length of you waist plus 15 inches.
