You’ll start with a bias-knit strip—simple, soothing, and a great way to spend some quality time getting to know your yarn. There’s optional beaded ribbing at each end (because subtle sparkle is always a choice), and yarnovers along the edge that make picking up stitches later feel almost scandalously easy. Once the border kicks in, the lace gets lacy, the colors start shifting faster, and suddenly you’re addicted and dying to see the final piece. Place beads throughout the lace and the bind-off if you’re feeling extra fancy—or don’t! You’re in charge here.

And let’s talk about the yarn that makes Scarfscape shine. Pato is a hand-dyed gradient laceweight from Bilum, a 50/50 blend of silk and baby camel hair that is absurdly soft and shiny. Like, swoon-worthy. Scarfscape is designed to use as much of your ball of yarn as possible, you don’t want to waste any of this beauty!

Each N Club kit includes the yarn, two sizes of Japanese seed beads, beading tools, and freshwater pearl stitch markers that match the yarn perfectly.
