This is an easy pattern to make and is suitable for the novice. The scarf is long enough, about 47 inch circumference to be worn in one long loop, OR it can be doubled for a closer fit.

I have used both Red Heart Soft and Caron Simply Soft. When using Red Heart Ch 180, When using Simply Soft Ch 212 for a bit longer scarf, about 54 inches circumference.

The pattern is worked in continuous rounds which eliminates unsightly joins.

The pattern is very adaptable, simply add or subtract foundation chains by multiples of 2.

You can also change up the border, or mix and match different colorways to make the cowl distinctively your own.

This is a quick, but chic cowl that can be made in an evening for yourself or as a gift for a friend.

I have given several as gifts myself to rave reviews. and it has also been made by several members of the Missouri Valley Needle Arts group and worn with pride.

Special thank you to my beautiful niece Amanda for acting as my model.
