MIJN GROTE FAMILIE

Mijn Grote Familie (My big family) is my last project. It’s about Minus, a 12 year old amigurumi kid, and his relatives and friends. In my shop you’ll find their pdf patterns, DIY kits including everything you need to crochet them, the finished dolls and more surprises….

Scout is Minus´ little sister and she is 4 years old. She never liked dolls; what she really likes is teddy bears. She likes them so much that she even says she is a bear and that´s why she always wears her onesie with little ears. She even wears it when she goes out of home.

She is still almost a baby but she has clear ideas and she knows what she wants. Despite being the youngest at home, she is the one wearing the pants. What a temper she has!

Scout’s pattern is a 10 pages PDF that includes all the instructions to make your amigurumi as well as tutorials for the special stitches. It’s full of pictures of Scout so you can see the doll from different perspectives.

It’s a quite easy pattern, suitable for beginners and experts, and it has a special feature: you can remove Scout’s hood. It also includes the patterns for the teddy bear and the blanket, so you’ll learn even more new techniques, such as how to crochet chevron.

LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE: Intermediate

MATERIALS

A pair of 4mm safety eyes (0,15”) (optional)

Polyfill stuffing
If you want to be able to move Scout’s arms and legs, you can put a pipe cleaner inside. (If the toy is supposed to be for a baby, I recommend you not to use them).

Approx. measurements when finished: 19 cm height, 8 cm length, 7 cm width (It’ll depend on your gauge, the yarn you use, and the hook number.)

The pattern is available in English and Spanish.
