The January bag is designed as a little scrap yarn project – the perfect textured zipped bag that can be made by searching through your stash and yarn scraps. It’s knitted in the round in stockinette stitch with purl and welt details. A great introduction to adding texture and welts to your knits! The zipper and lining are added at the end and can be done by hand.

Suggested yarn: DK–weight yarn that matches the gauge
Three different yarn colours are described in this pattern (but use as many as you like!)
