A temperature scarf inspired by EZ’s scarf in the round. Each end is left open with ribbing. This scarf could be worn as a hat and wrapped around the neck, one end can be tucked into the other for a cowl, it can be worn as a balaclava or plain scarf. I used leftover sock yarn with various colors and designs for a very eclectic pattern. When I ran out of any color, I just found something within range and kept going. This is not meant to be an exact representation of the year’s temperatures, but more like a diary. The daily act of observing the temperature puts you in touch with nature’s rhythm, and the end result is more art than science.
