Scribblings

This pattern is a mix of a stitch sampler and a color work shawl, beginner friendly, and all set against a garter base. You’ll never get stuck in one section for too long, because the colors and stitch patterns are constantly changing. The shawl looks and feels huge, but the final stitch count is under 400.
Designed for any yarn weight.
4 colors with high contrast, and you need anywhere between 300-400 yards of each color, depending on how tightly you knit. Or 1200-1600 yards of any combination of colors you enjoy.
The example is done in sport weight on a US Size 8 (5mm) set of 60” (150cm) circular needles.
