You’ll never get stuck in one section for too long, because the colors and stitch patterns are constantly changing. The shawl looks and feels huge, but the final stitch count is under 400.

4 colors with high contrast, and you need anywhere between 300-400 yards of each color, depending on how tightly you knit. Or 1200-1600 yards of any combination of colors you enjoy.
