INSTRUCTIONS
The left and right back shoulders are worked first from the top down with the front band cable pattern. Two back pieces are joined at the tip of V, then the back is worked until the underarms and set on hold on waste yarn. Both fronts are worked from stitches picked up along the back shoulders to the underarms, then joined with the back previously set on hold. The lower body is worked to your preferred length and the hem is worked in a cable pattern. The armhole edges of the vest are finished off with applied i-cords. For the cardigan, stitches are picked up for the sleeves around the armholes. Short rows are worked to form set-in sleeve cap, then stitches are decreased at the underarm.
