As I was frantically knitting this hat for my dear SIL for Christmas, I was thinking about how perfect and warm it would be for our cold, Canadian winters. This then got me to thinking about what it was to be Canadian. Around this time, Black Friday madness was happening and all the hilarioius memes were making their appearances all over social media depicting the difference between Black Friday in Canada and the US. In Canada, we for some reason tend to be overly polite almost to the point of satire. Everyone is saying sorry, excuse me, sorry, sorry, pardon me. So I present to you the ultimately Canadian hat, Scuse me, Pardon me. It’s extra warm knit in an Aran/Bulky weight yarn with a very simple colorwork pattern which means you can easily make 2 hats out of the 2 balls, which is exactly what I did because I decided I wanted one for myself too!
