This simple colorwork hat knits up quickly in 3 colours of worsted weight yarn. The long folded brim keeps your ears extra toasty, but can easily be swapped out for a single layer brim if the extra warmth isn’t required the way it is in northern Canada where I live haha.

Size: Child, (Adult)
Fits head 18-20 inches (20-22 inches)
Hat height- 8”, (9”)
Materials:
Yarn: Shown- Malabrigo Rios in Teal Feather, Sand Bank and Toffee Coffee
Recommended: 50 grams of C1 and C2, and 20 grams of C3 in worsted weight yarn.
Needles: 4 mm/ US 6 needles of choice depending on the knitters individual knitting style (16” circs, long circ for magic loop or DPN’s for crown shaping)
Notions: darning needle for weaving in ends.
Gauge: 24 stitches and 26 rows per 4” in blocked colorwork.
