Sea Turtle Hat
The Sea Turtle Hat pattern features an attached double brim, a repeated sea turtle pattern, and a sun-ray colorwork crown.
This pattern uses 3 colors, two at a time for the stranded colorwork. A chart for ladder-back jacquard (LBJ) colorwork is also included. The Cascade and Malabrigo samples in the pattern were knit using LBJ. I found that this technique used less yarn than standard stranded colorwork. After blocking all 3 versions ame out to the same measurement of 9” wide by 8” tall laid flat.
