This listing is for a digital crochet pattern to make the Sea Shell Top, a lightweight summer top with a beautiful shell stitch texture, flutter sleeves, and adjustable front ties.

I designed the Sea Shell Top while on a very special family holiday in Australia. Many of the stitches were worked sitting on the beach, watching the waves roll gently onto the shore. Those peaceful moments by the ocean became part of the design itself.

The Sea Shell Top has a relaxed, wearable fit that balances structure and drape. The shell stitch creates beautiful texture while remaining soft and comfortable to wear, while the adjustable front ties allow you to customise the fit. The flutter sleeves and wide neckline create a feminine silhouette that feels effortless and easy.

It is the kind of piece that becomes part of summer. Something you reach for on beach days, warm evenings, and slow mornings.

It is a piece designed to be worn, loved, and lived in.

The top is designed to be worn with ease.

For the best fit, choose the size closest to your full chest measurement. If you are between sizes, size up for a looser fit or size down for a more fitted look.

CONSTRUCTION

The Sea Shell Top is worked from the top down.

You will begin by creating the yoke, working back and forth in rows. The yoke is shaped to create soft capped sleeves and a wide neckline, with clear stitch counts provided throughout to help you stay on track.

Once the yoke is complete, the sleeves are separated and the body is continued in the shell stitch pattern.

Decorative edging is then added to the front opening, followed by a simple collar edging around the neckline.

The top is finished with adjustable crochet ties, allowing you to customise the fit and styling.
