Sienna Dress
The Sienna Dress is a sweet and romantic crochet dress with a soft shell stitch texture, flutter sleeves, a full skirt, and delicate button fastening at the back.
The Sienna Dress is a timeless crochet dress designed for childhood days that feel a little bit magical. With its soft textured bodice, gentle flutter sleeves, full skirt, and pretty button back, this dress has a beautifully nostalgic feel while still being comfortable and wearable for everyday adventures.
I designed The Sienna Dress with softness in mind. I wanted to create the kind of handmade dress that feels special the moment it is put on, but still easy enough for little ones to wear and play in. It is romantic, simple, and full of the little details I love most.
Whether worn for family photos, birthdays, summer days, garden parties, or simply for dressing up at home, The Sienna Dress adds a beautiful handmade touch to childhood memories.

The dress is designed to be worn with ease.
For the best fit, choose the size closest to the chest measurement. If you are between sizes, I would size down for the best fit as cotton tends to stretch.
CONSTRUCTION
The Sienna Dress is worked from the top down.
The yoke is crocheted flat before the sleeves are separated and the skirt is continued in a beautiful repeating shell stitch pattern. The skirt has a soft, full shape with lovely drape and movement. The flutter sleeves add a romantic finish, and the back is completed with a simple button fastening.
The construction is straightforward and repetitive once established, making this an enjoyable project for confident beginners and experienced crocheters alike.
