A squishy half-brioche wrap with clean I-cord edges, in unspun wool held double. Season’s End takes a half-brioche stitch and turns it into a soft, lofty shawl, knit in Höner och Eir’s Nutiden. Worked flat from the centre out and easy to adjust to the yarn available — a beginner-friendly introduction to brioche.

Sizing: 3 sizes, adjustable. Finished length, tip to tip: 150 / 210 / 250 cm (59 / 82.75 / 98.5 in). Centre-width: 14 / 19 / 22 cm (5.5 / 7.5 / 8.75 in).

Gauge: 17 sts × 38 rows = 10 cm (4”) in the half-brioche pattern on 4.0 mm (US 6), blocked. Swatch worked flat.

Needles: 4.0 mm (US 6), 80–120 cm circulars. Notions: a tapestry needle, scissors.

Yarn: Höner och Eir Nutiden (unspun, ~100 g / ~530 m per plate), held double, colourway ‘Krusiduller’. ~398–795 m / 435–869 yd across sizes. Substitute any aran/worsted that meets gauge.
