April Launch Special; all my patterns will be 50% off this month to celebrate this Bring On The Dots pattern launch.

Seaweed Lace Cowl was inspired by the long strands of seaweed that grow on the underwater rocks off the Cliff Walk in Newport RI. If you swim underwater off the shoreline rocks, you can weave through the lovely waving strands.

The cowl uses 2 skeins of light worsted weight yarn. The cowl’s pattern stitch is 9 stitches wide with 16 rows. All wrong side rows are purled.

Seaweed Lace Cowl was designed for fall and winter season, especially for gift giving. It is unisex and suitable for dress or leisure wear.

Finished size: 2 sizes:

Small - 12 in 48 cm height top to bottom and 18.75 in 47.63 cm in circumference

Large - 12 in 48 cm height top to bottom and 22 in 55.88 cm in circumference

Skills: knit, purl, yarn over, ssk and k2tog.

Gauge: 24 sts and 25 rounds = 4 in 10 cm in pattern stitch and 24 sts and 26 rounds = 4 in 10 cm in stockinette stitch.

Gauge is not essential, but varying the gauge will result in different yardage and final size.

Instructions are charted and written. Pattern has been test knit.
