Surf Break Cowl is a heavily textured reversible cowl with a different symmetrical 3-D pattern on each side. Pattern was test knit and instructions are charted and written. Any finger weight yarn may be used for this cowl.

This soft lacy cowl is suitable for Spring, Summer and Fall. You get two difference looks in one cowl! It is knit bottom up and in the round.

The 2017 summer gave us record breaking surf in New England, USA. There was a striking natural beauty in the ocean waves, surf and ripple patterns. In memory of this record breaking surf and the fantastic wave designs it produced, I was inspired to design this cowl.

Difficulty level is intermediate/advanced beginner with knowledge of K, P, YO, SSK, K2tog, and working in the round on circular needles which is explained.
