Second Glance explores how the same slip-stitch pattern can create surprisingly different effects simply by changing the number of colors and where those colors are placed.

The pattern includes two versions: Version 1 uses three colors, while Version 2 uses two. Only one color is worked at a time, making the colorwork approachable while still producing an intricate-looking fabric.

Both headbands are worked flat from the bottom up and finished with a mattress stitch seam. The pattern includes both written and charted instructions for the slip-stitch pattern.

Second Glance is a great way to use smaller amounts of worsted-weight yarn from your stash and to experiment with how color placement can completely change the look of the same stitch pattern.

Two versions are included in one pattern.
