Hi! I’m Joy, the knitwear designer and creator behind Top of the World Knits. I learned to knit over 40 years ago from my aunt. Although I consider myself to be an experienced knitter, my busy lifestyle of raising two children and working a full-time job has resulted in me gravitating towards knitwear patterns that are modern, classic, and easy-going.

With Top of the World Knits, I strive to create quality knitwear designs that emphasize simplicity and ease. I love incorporating interesting structural designs and uncomplicated stitch patterns into my patterns resulting in impressive finished projects that knitters will be proud to have completed.
